About the Universal Hagar’s Spiritual Church Association Hagar's School of Ministry

Founded in 1923 by Father George W. Hurley, the Universal Hagar’s Spiritual Church Association (UHSCA) stands as a beacon of spiritual light for the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth within the hearts and minds of mankind. Recognizing the need to train  its member,   ministers and  officers of the church, the Hagar’s School of Ministry (HSM) was established August 14, 2009 under the commission of the President of the  Wisemen Board (Executive Board) of the UHSCA to ready men and women to disseminate the gospel and help uplift global humanity.

What is the Hagar’s School of Ministry?

Hagar’s School of Ministry (HSM)is a distance learning program for ministerial training and development. * Our distance education programs offer students the opportunity to grow their faith in God through our esoteric approach to ministerial study. Providing education and training in ministry, biblical knowledge, leadership, social responsibility, personal and spiritual development for aspiring adults in the field of religious studies. The HSM will provide a dynamic equalizing environment wherein seminary students may develop and refine eclectic skills that will enable students to realize a rewarding ministerial vocation.

*Courses for church lay officers are offered through the UHSCA Seminary.

Our Future Outlook

The future growth and expansion of the HSM is to offer seminary training to students beyond the UHSCA. This endeavor will require the HSM to receive accreditation from a national academic accrediting body. Such an accreditation will establish national recognition of the HSM as an institution of academic excellence. From this, the HSM will pursue regional accreditation, which is the highest level of academic accreditation bestowed upon an academic body. Regional accreditation is recognized throughout the continental United States, and many foreign countries.
